The 1894 Lodge

You wouldn't expect such a high-quality restaurant in such a small unknown town. The fact that 1894 Lodge is prevailing in today's economy is just amazing. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly and completely willing to help you in any way shape or form. The bar is top notch. The Only Exception I saw in the few times that I've been there was that the owner likes to sit with people that he knows and not really help the staff when he is needed. Our table ordered a shot that was $11 and when we said something about the amount in front of the owner he just turned his head and ignored us.

Went for the Sunday brunch buffet, I think they have it about once a month, and WOW! Everything was so fresh and delicious and they had a create your own omelette station. They also had a bloody mary bar that was fantastic with so many choices of toppings. Staff was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place!
