Susie Ricke used deceptive practices in getting my 80 year old grandmother to sign withdrawal documents on an investment that I had with her company. My grandmother started this policy for me when I was very young. I requested to withdrawal the money to help out a family member. Susie informed me that there were 2 ways to go about it. I could A. Withdrawal the money with no penalty or B. Take the money out as a loan so the withdrawn amount still accumulated interest. I informed her since is was such a little amount, it would not make sense to pay interest on my own money. Since I could not make it to her office to sign the documents, I had my 80 year old grandmother go into sign them, as her name was also on the account. She set up the withdrawal as a loan and had my grandmother sign the documents without telling her. I now must pay the interest in order to even cancel my account with her. I have sent several e-mails trying to correct this problem. Susie said she would be happy to switch the document but I am still liable for the interest during that period or I would have to pay the interest out of the account to close it. This is totally deceptive and unacceptable.
