St.Vincent Immediate Care Center

Absolutely terrible experience at this office. If I could rate it at 0 stars I would. I visited this office at 6:00 on a day when they closed at 8 for what I thought was a broken hand. I proceeded to wait 30 minutes before I was taken back to one of the consult rooms. I then waited another 20-30 minutes before I saw a nurse. After I saw the nurse I waited an entire hour before I was able to see the NP Flor Phillips at 8:07. She then looked an my hand and told me she didn't think it was broken, but the only way she could know for sure was to take an X-ray, but the X-ray tech had already left for the day because it was after close. Even though I had been there since 6. She kept saying "I don't think its broken, but I can't be sure". She then told me I could come back the next day between 8:00 - 11:00 for an X-ray without getting charged for another office visit, but if I couldn't be back between that time I would get charged another $120 office visit as well as the cost for the X-ray. I asked if I could come back the next night and get the X-ray due to work meetings I had scheduled the next morning. She told me there was nothing she could do and I would have to pay the additional office visit. The next night I went to the OrthoIndy Fishers where the PA that was on told me without doing any X-rays there was no chance that my hand wasn't broken, she told me "I've never seen a hand with that much swelling not be broken!". The amount of incompetence in this office is astounding, especially on the part of the NP Flor Phillips .
