I have been blessed to work at Rockville Nursing and Rehab Center for 5 years. This place is truly my home away from home. I'm honored to take care of the amazing residents that call RNRC home. Whether we have them for a brief time (rehab to home stay) or if we get to spend the remaining years of their lives together, we come together as a family and make each moment count. Cheering on a resident who achieves the goal of returning to their former strength and crying tears of joy as they leave the doors to go home is an amazing feeling. (Hate to see them go but love to watch them leave) For many residents they come here to live when they can no longer stay home alone. Sharing stories and laughter we strive to bring joy to their lives. In return my residents truly have brought more joy to my life than I could ever repay. When the time comes we shed tears of joy and sadness, as they get to go "home". Knowing we make a difference ♡
