Maranatha Baptist Church

This is one solid church--a fundamental, independent Baptist church, which basically just means that the preaching, the songs, and the general spirit of the people that embody the church strive to follow God, his Word, and the absolute truths therein, directly and without any other medium. It's a place of genuine worship by genuine people. You won't be blasted by a rock band or dazzled by choreographed entertainment that resembles some sort of marketing campaign, but you will experience the power of the Word here and the presence of the one and true savior. I choose power in the Word over that of a subwoofer any day, as personal growth and life direction do not come from without, but by the Spirit from within.
