I purchased a 2000 Ford Taurus in March 2015 from Fast Import Cars. During the first week of my purchase, I took the car to a mechanic for what I thought would be preventative maintenance, only to be advised not to waste my money on the vehicle. I notified Fast Import Cars that what they told me was a minor thermostat replacement is actually an heater core and head gasket problem. After several emails, I finally received the typical reply "We were not aware of this problem". I say, if you don't know enough about the product that you're selling - you should not be allowed to sell it! I was only able to drive this car for maybe two months and I've now spent the past several months getting rides to and from work and to the store. This means that I'm unable to sell my crafts which brought in some extra money to add to my low income (because I have no car to deliver my items and no car to pick up supplies). Because I can't afford a mechanic, I've also spent a good amount of time trying to fix my own car (to no avail because as much as I've tried - I'm a 56 year old grandmother and not a mechanic). I don't even make enough money to save for another vehicle. I have to rely on my tax return which I'll be lucky if it's $1500. I paid $2400 for this Taurus, what the heck do you think I get for $1500? This is the second time one of these small time car dealers has done this to me. I paid $4500 for a truck just before this car and that car dealer watched me drive off his lot for a test drive with zero tail lights on a pitch dark snowy winter evening - major electrical problems). I would like to know how they sleep at night? To Fast Import Cars - At this point I've tried everything! I can to get this car running and I want you to know that At this point, if or when I end up without a ride to and from work - it's all on you if anything bad happens to my life after that. How can you possibly enjoy your life when you're totally destroying everyone else's?????????????
