Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Wayne

Clean, good customer service. Room was a little noisy since it was over the pool. Breakfast was hit or miss during our stay. Really enjoyed our stay in our clean and comfortable room

Horrible experience! I guess Fairfield Marriott reached its black quota for the day! I have never been to Fort Wayne, but came to participate in my graduation from Indiana Tech. Sylvia the front desk attendant could not process our payment for check in. So my husband and I used our American Express, that payment could not be processed either. She then called her manager Rhatavie for assistance, he said that a $500 deposit would be needed if we used cash or we would need a major credit card. The time is now after 12 midnight, we have driven from Merrillville and we have no room for the night. So we leave and go to another hotel, check in took less than 5 min with the same card Sylvia couldn't seem to process. I will never recommend or stay at a Marriot Hotel. Further more will be filing an official complaint with corporate. I called the location on Jefferson to obtain the information needed for this process. I am beyond irritated, and know this was racially motivated. This is what we doing in 2018, Fort Wayne Fairfield Marriott? Done, never again!
