We bought our unit from Culligan aprox 1.5 years ago. Even though it was not all I was told it would be we were still pretty happy with it. Last weekend our electric went out and the softner has not been working properly since. I figured it was no problem as I had remembered the sales person telling me all my options and I had bought the biggest/best one they had. I bought that one because it came with a 10 year warranty, or so I was told. Today I called to see if I get get it checked out and was told that it would cost $138 or something like that to send someone out just to look at it (and that is not including parts or fixing it). She also told me I only had a year warranty and it was out. I'm very disappointed because I remember sitting at my kitchen table with that salesman and him telling me "10 year warranty". That's why I picked that option and paid thousands of dollars for that unit that I actually just paid off around this time last year. I can't complain about the lady I talked to, she was nice enough. I'm just very disappointed and feel like I had been mislead..
