This is my favorite destination in my quiet little hometown of Henryville. Camping in the summer will cost around $15 per night, winter rates are lower, and it is primitive only. There are water spigots and outhouses, but no electricity. There is a waste water dumping station for RV enthusiast. If your coming here for fishing and hiking you have come to the right place, tons of trails and secluded lakes to spend the day at. There is a renovated fire tower at the back end of the park that you can climb up and see for miles. From the top of it you can see the Louisville skyline and watch fireworks during thunder. With so many shelter houses, we always reserve one for family reuinions during the summer. There's so many things you can do in this forest, its something that you must experience first hand.
If you love nature then you'll love Clark State Forestry, it's free, has plenty of shelter houses that can be rented for the day & picnic tables, trails, camping, playgrounds, basketball court, fishing lakes, fire tower, horse trails & horse campground & even a shooting range.
