Carriage Place Apartments

Unethical and irresponsible property management, I lived in this place for a year and cleaned the unit as possible as I can when I moved out. I understand the property management will always try to charge the deposit and extra if possible, so I left my moving address and phone number for contacting. But, the property management did not send me any documentation or bill about my unit and directly sold the debt to a collector company. I was not aware at all about my bill since there is no one contact me from the Carriage Place Management. When first time I was receiving the call from the debt collector company they have already reported a collection on my credit report. I have been kept the credit in good status for years and never missed any of payment. What an unethical and irresponsible property management, never recommend anyone to live in this place.

The living experience at Carriage Place changed drastically following a change of staff. Problems with the apartments, such as heating and cooling, either go unfixed or are 'fixed' in such a way that the problem is not resolved but maintenance is able to claim they addressed the problem. Routine maintenance, such as changing the filters for the furnace, is no longer completed, either. The administrative staff does not seem to understand how some of these issues need to be resolved and so blindly relies on what they are told by their maintenance supervisor. Overall a very disappointing experience, and I'd recommend looking at any other apartment complex in the area before signing a lease here.
