This review is in regards to the comment below about the dog. There is nothing wrong with bringing your dog to the workplace, especially service/therapy dogs, since by state law, they are allowed to be with their owners. Depression in the elderly population is extremely high and it is proven by science that animals (dogs/cats) help reduce depression and provides a sense of companionship among the elderly. So props to this nurse for bringing joy to her residents by bringing her comfort dog. And props to the rest of the staff: nurses, CNA’s, Activities, dietary, and housekeeping for providing care and compassion to the residents.
